The Name on the Truck Means Something
Pepe Calderon. Three generations of mechanical work, passed down the way the best things are — through early mornings, long days, and a father who showed up and did things right.
Pepe grew up beside his father, Jose Calderon Jr., who ran Pepcal Controls — commercial refrigeration, industrial systems, the kind of work that doesn’t forgive shortcuts. Before that, the Calderon name was already building something. A reputation. A standard.
When Pepe founded Pepcal Heating & Air in 2013, he wasn’t starting from scratch. He was carrying something forward.
What That Heritage Looks Like in Your Home
You won’t find quota-driven technicians here. You won’t get a sales pitch dressed up as a diagnosis. You won’t be upsold something you don’t need by someone who won’t be there to stand behind it.
What you will get is a technician who was raised to believe that HVAC work reflects character. That the right answer isn’t always the fastest one. That a homeowner who understands their system is a homeowner who trusts the company that explained it.
That’s not a policy. That’s how this family was raised.
Serving Northwest San Antonio — The Right Way
Pepcal Heating & Air serves homeowners throughout Alamo Ranch, Helotes, Leon Valley, and Northwest San Antonio. We are a faith-based, family-owned company — accountable to our customers, grateful for every call, and proud of the work we leave behind.
Systems designed properly the first time, not patched until they fail again
Premium craftsmanship on every job,
regardless of size
Honest recommendations, even when the honest answer is "you don't need that yet"
A technician who treats your home the way
he'd treat his own
500+ five-star reviews don’t come from being fast. They come from being right — and from the kind of company that still answers the phone when something goes wrong.
A Note From Pepe
“My father taught me that your name follows your work. Everywhere we go, we represent three generations of people who cared about doing this right. I don’t take that lightly — and neither does my team.”
